Rehabilitation

The Troika Equestrian Centre offers a range of alternative therapies for the equine athlete.

Laser acupuncture in combination with homeopathic remedies, offers a wide range of very effective non invasive alternatives to conventional treatments. A conventional diagnosis however, and a close co-operation with a conventional vet is always strongly recommended.

The Troika team uses state of the art diagnostic and treatment equipment by Reimers & Jansen in Germany, that have proven to be able to effectively treat most of the following problems in our equine partners.

Acute lameness caused by sprains, contusions, infected arthritis, tendosynovitis, chronic lameness such as tarsal osteoarthropathy and arthroses; chronic obstructive bronchitis, various forms of colic, odontology treatment of surgical wounds like “kissing spines” and a large variety of back problems that can be treated with a high rate of success.

Laser treatment helps to cut the down time in cases of infected saddle sores and speed up wound healing. Fertility problems and many urinary tract problems respond favorable to Laser treatment as well.

The healing of bone fractures and problems with de-calcified bones have been treated successfully too.
